Willy Wonka Jr.

Turnstyle donated graphic-design services for the Loyal Heights Elementary School stage production of Willy Wonka Junior. The PTA sponsored and staged the musical with the goal of exposing students to theater.

The graphic identity for the show was based on a re-invisioning of Willy Wonka candy packaging. Branded items produced by Turnstyle included a show logo, posters, programs, candy-bar wrappers, Golden Tickets, cast t-shirts, and various other props. The various materials and promotional items generated immense excitement in the school community and helped make the kids and attendees feel like they were participating in a real broadway production. The cast put on three shows, with total attendance topping 1400. Photography of the cast was donated by Seattle photographer Paul Edmundson.
